Bland County History Archives a place-based oral history and technology project of students of Bland County High School, Rocky Gap, Virginia. The goal of the BCHA is to preserve the stories of the people of Bland County, to present them to the public in a variety of ways, to make a meaningful contribution to our community, and to learn how to use technology in the process. Many of the stories are of the last people to have been born and raised in a real log cabin back up a holler or on top of a mountain.
